We are a Warhammer 40K Podcast dedicated first to the players and then to the strategy and tactics behind the game. We are also dedicated to building the community of 40K. You can view our mission here.
Mission Statement
The 11th Company is dedicated to the players of 40K. We named our podcast the 11th Company to symbolize the "11th Marine Company" from the codex astartes which we believe to be the players themselves. As such we are also deeply committed to growing the Warhammer 40K community. After all, without a community, there won't be anybody to play with!
- We strive to seek out the opinions of players from all over the world.
- We seek to bring you view points and perspective about the game outside our own.
- We support anybody in the community including blogs, web sites, forums, podcasts, vendors, stores, community activists, event organizers, and more.
- We freely provide help in any way we can to get the word out.
- We are dedicated to all aspects of the hobby including hobbying itself as well as fan constructed content such as fan dexs. All aspects of the community are important to us.
Our podcast is dedicated to talking about the game of 40K. Our niche in the podcasting world is to be the strategy and tactics podcast of Warhammer 40K, discussing how to play the game of 40K and providing insight, to-the-point talk, and a well-rounded conversation about game play.
- We seek to maintain an "all 40K all the time" mentality on our podcast.
- We are dedicated to bringing you strategy, tactics, tournament, and list talk or other related material.
- We strive to reach out into the community seeking different perspectives and players of the game.
- We seek to further the player skill of the game of 40K.
- We seek to support, but are not solely committed to, a competitive 40K scene.
- We do not assume that we are right.
- We will not lie about or try to pretend that aspects of the game of 40K are not the way we see them just to avoid difficult or critical conversations. It may cost us a listener to voice an opinion, but that's better than "pretending" that things about this game aren't the way they are.
- We seek to provide a friendly atmosphere to learn.
